I love lilacs!
Spring time is when I start moving from the scents of winter and welcome the freshness of a new season. When I was a little girl we used to go mushroom hunting. Any true mushroom lover knows that once the lilacs start to bloom that it’s time to start hunting. Anyway, lilac has become a memory scent for me. My mom used to have a lilac bush right outside of our front room window and those flowers had a calming effect on me. So now that I’m older I look for scents that soothe me in our busy stress filled lives of go go go. I’ve looked forever for a true fresh lilac fragrance that wasn’t fake or over powering So when I became an ambassador for The Columbia Fragrance Co., I couldn’t wait to try the Lilac body spray. I not only wanted that scent in candles and room sprays but I wanted to take that scent on the go with me. How better way to stay calm than with a soothing lilac body spray to say hello to spring with. Now I can have my home smell of spring and my body.
Next I tried Riverside Rendezvous! As I'm writing this, it’s raining outside and dreary. So, I decided I wanted something clean and refreshing to spruce up my home. So I sprayed my Cotton Blossom room spray and it took me to a fresh spring day in my living room. It’s funny how a scent can take you on a trip to your happy spot. This scent drew my attention because I’ve always been curious about Port Orleans Resort. A place that’s on my bucket list to visit. I would proudly give this scent as a gift it’s light refreshing and not overpowering. I’m thinking a Mother’s Day gift! I’d love to send my mother or mother in law on a trip To days gone by with the new Riverside Rendezvous - the fragrance of fresh and floral cotton blossom. Riverside Rendezvous is lovely. Plus the man of the house even loves it.
My last treat was Sweet Pea, which is a scent which truly surprises me - unquestionably floral with light herbal and musky bottom notes. Very clean, romantic and sensual all wrapped together. When I opened the candle it was such a light scent I was afraid it wouldn’t be strong enough. But once lit the magic of this scent wrapped around my heart. Very springy and I am in love with it. Now I want to order this in their body line. Wow. Being an ambassador has such great perks. 🌸
